Scorecard
Overall : A
Food: A. Fresh Northwest meats and produce are exquisitely and creatively prepared.
Service: A. Highly professional staff has timing down to a fine art.
Atmosphere: A-. Set amid the pines, the Kokanee is rustic and elegant, but the music doesn’t work.
Value: A-. Prices are higher than at most area restaurants, but few diners complain.

All’s well that ends well, especially for a young man from Stratford-upon-Avon, England, who sought his fortune in the wilds of Central Oregon.
